Position Summary:

The primary role of the position will be to monitor, maintain and supply production with parts, giving support to all Morgana customers and staff.

 

Successful Outcome:

The success of this role can be measured in three areas:

  • Process and despatch of spare parts to customers and Production: To aim on to process orders on same day ensuring quality and speed of despatch is maintained.
  • Process of inbound goods: To efficiently book spares and machines into stock on a daily basis ensuring accuracy is maintained.
  • Spares/Production stores warehouse management: Ensuring the spares warehouse is tidy and well monitored.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Process and despatch of spare parts and machines:

  • Assist other departments as required during busy times and holiday cover.
  • Maintain good communication with service and customer service departments regarding despatch.
  • Flexibility between both warehouses

 Processing of inbound goods:

 

  • To book in all new and replenishment stock in a daily timely manner.
  • To assist with warranty process of booking in returned items.
  • All delivery paperwork to be checked, signed and filed appropriately.
  • Assist warehouse with booking in of machines and subsequent booking into M3.

Spares/Production stores warehouse management:

 

  • Maintain accurate stock records and action regular perpetual stock counts.
  • To assist with bi-annual stocktakes.
  • Ensure spares/production warehouse is kept tidy to enable efficient operation including disposal of excess waste material.
  • Recommending any items for disposal review with management.
  • To monitor packaging inventory levels and order appropriately.
  • To maintain robust control over parts/machines not being removed without M3 generated transactions.
  • Also any other tasks and responsibilities deemed reasonable by the management including keeping the warehouse supervisors regularly informed of any problems that may escalate.

Qualifications / Experience Required:

 

  • The essential key attributes required are:
  • Identifying numerical discrepancies and performing reconciliations.
  • Good communication skills with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent organisation skills, with efficient self-motivation and initiative.
  • Previous warehouse management experience.
  • Forklift experience would be beneficial.
