Thanks to mechanical and software enhancements, the SD-435e/450e series delivers a substantial improvement in performance compared to the previous-generation SD-435/450. When the Performance Kit is installed, the SD-435e is upgraded to a 50-sheet capable SD-450e, unlocking even greater throughput.
With this upgrade, the system can produce up to 64% more booklets per hour on thinner sets, and over 25% more on thicker sets — even when processing longer formats like A4 landscape or sheets up to 660 mm. These improvements allow for faster turnaround times without compromising the professional finish expected from Plockmatic solutions.
The new system architecture enables customers to produce high quality booklets from A6 to A4 landscape, and has all the key processes needed to produce corner and edge staple, folding, spine forming, and full bleed trimming, all combined in one single, easy to use system.
