Available as an option to the Ricoh SR5120 Booklet Finisher, the Plockmatic SBT adds two key functions – booklet square folding and trimming. The result is a professionally finished document – with the sharp squarefold spine and trimmed front edge.
The touch screen interface helps operators of all skill levels get the most out of the system with rich graphics and guided setup and start.
The Plockmatic SBT has a wide set size and format range to match the new SR5120 Booklet Finisher. Enhance booklets processed by the SR5120 with up to 350 gsm paper stock from 182 x 100 mm to 320 x 244 mm.
The SBT is equipped with the heavy-duty SquareBack module you find in our larger Booklet Making Systems. This enables booklets made from a wide variety of paper stocks and sizes to have a perfectly formed spine. It also makes the booklets easier to stack.
The result is the look and feel of a Perfect Bound book – At a fraction of the cost.
Not everyone has access or the time to use a guillotine for short run jobs.
The Plockmatic SBT can also process booklets for bleed trimming book by book in an operator assisted process. Simply insert the finished booklets first to trim the top, and then a second time to trim the bottom. Full bleed booklets are now an option for small CRD’s and office installations.
