Produce longer DUPLEX printed with accurate front to back registration. The LCT XL from Plockmatic accelerates the shift from offset to digital printing for key applications, such as landscape booklets, which require two long sheet trays. This is the ideal and cost-effective solution for this long sheet feeding challenge.
The Large Capacity Tray option can be added to selected Canon printers connected directly to the print engine. The unit can feed long sheets up to 700mm or 27.5” on a variety of stock with weights up to 450gsm from the two vacuum trays. With the addition of the optional Long Sheet Module even longer sheets can be fed through, meaning that you can produce trifold or gate folded applications.
The optional LSM XL module mounts on top of the LCT XL and adds a third pick point for extra long sheets. The LSM XL uses an Air assisted friction feed hybrid technology designed to handle sheets up to 450gsm both coated and uncoated stock.
Automatic Sheet Size Detection: Sensor arrays enable automatic sheet size detection for standard sheet sizes.
Advanced Double Feed Detection: The Ultra Sonic double feed detection system, ensure the unit detects double feed on very heavy media, special media (such as black), or metallic media that is being fed from the tray.
Automatic Fan Control: A sensor array detects the number of sheets separated from the stack before feeding, automatically adjusting the airflow in each tray.
Paper Tray Indicator: Blue LED bars on each tray to identifies the active tray in the feeding sequence, alert to errors, and show remaining paper levels.
The Plockmatic LCT XL is equipped with its own User Interface, however for standard operation the unit can be controlled through the printer’s user interface. The UI saves special feeder settings for a specific media and stores in the LCT media library – practical and easily loaded when needed.
The UI on the Plockmatic LCT can also be used for advanced setup when the auto functions are not enough. Advanced operators can control the fans individually, to consistently feed difficult media, and easily store these settings in the media library.
